This is a treat eh? Diving with giant kelp around the Actaeon Islands… wow!! Whole weekend, 11th and 12th April. Suitable for OW divers and beyond. We’re planning a double dive each day, and the cost of the double dive will be $100. Please remember life jackets and DSMBs. There are no dive shops nearby, so bring as many tanks as you need.

Thanks to members’ generosity we can run 3 boats for the weekend, which will aim to depart from Southport boat ramp at 9:00am both days. Exact departure time will depend on conditions and we’ll let you know closer to the weekend.

Southport has a caravan park (with cabins) and Kate and Mitch have also said people wanting to dive both days can camp at their place at Cairns Bay.
